Akhenaten - The Heretic Pharaoh

Akhenaten the Heritic Pharaoh ruled Egypt from Akhetaten, modern Armarna. He changed the state religion to Atenism and caused upheavel throughout Egypt by closing the temples of other gods. Akhenaten was known as Amenhotep IV when he was crowned a Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. He later changed his name to Akhenaten. He was the son of Amenhotep III and his Chief Queen Tiye and was born in 1379 BC or 1362 BC. Amenhotep IV succeeded his father after Amenhotep III's death. His Chief Queen was the beautiful Nefertiti. They had 6 daughters. He was the father (or perhaps the eldest brother) of Tutankhamun. How to Play Suzie Manley's Egypt Word Search Puzzle Games Press "Rescramble" to start game. Look in the puzzle grid for the hidden words in the Wordl List. The words can be forwards, backwards, vertical, horizontal or diagonal. When you find a word, click on the first letter of the word and drag your mouse cursor to the last letter of the word.
