In the Osiris legend, Seth lures his brother into a trap and murders him, sending his body floating away on the Nile. Isis searches for, and eventually finds the body. In some Dynasties he was honored as the essential chaos that must form a necessary duality with order. Kings in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Dynasties incorporated his name (Seti).
The Hyksos adopted him as the personification of their own god when they ruled at Avris. His cult center at Tanis is near the site of Avris. The Seth Triad

Neith protected Duamutef who protected the stomach and upper intestines. Sobek - the crocodile god, was associated with the might of the Pharaoh. He was worshiped as a solar diety as Sobek-Re.
