Winifred Brunton |
As the Supervisor of the the royal workshops,
he was able to obtain the services of the best sculptors of his time to
sculpt a full-sized statue, which he then shut up forever in the funerary
chapel of his tomb in Saqqara.
Brunton used the statue as the inspiration
for this portrait.
