In a move to make the Pyramids more tourist friendly, the Supreme Council of Antiquities has limited the selling of souvenirs on the Giza Plateau to the Panorama area. The Panorama area is the large bus parking area behind the Pyramids, a short walk up the hill from the Menkaure pyramid.
The vendors there have a nice variety of things which are usually made in Egypt.
Here are details and picutres of one of the longtime souvenire stalls at the Giza Panorama, the open air shop of Mr. Farid el Sobky.

Souvenirs: Bought 2 ushabti's made in Luxor by Mohamed Taaye. Mr. Sobky gave me a good bargain on the two ushabtis I bought and gave me a good luck scarab to seal the deal.
